CLipper came into my life in January of 1975. He was one of the last son's of the famed Spanish Clipper.
He was one of the most kind, honest & patient horses I have ever known. His trot and cantor made you feel as if you were sitting in a rocking chair.  I had the time of my life showing him. He was shown AQHA, Blue Water Horse Association, EMHA & local shows.
It was seldom that he did not place First or Second. My daughter, Lisa, in the above picture was eleven years old when she took him to the Jr. Livestock Show, at the Michigan State Fair Grounds.
The August..before he turned 30 the arthritis & navicular could not be taken care of by medication any longer. He could no longer be kept comfortable and that heartbreaking decision had to be made. I let him go with the dignity, he deserved. He was not only my horse, but my friend, for 26 years. He will never be forgotten, in my mind nor my heart.
I want to Thank my Husband, Bruce, for the patience and help the last year of his life. Also Dr. John Mcllmurray for the kindness and care he gave thru it all.
